​Songwriting can be a solitary endeavor, and that's why we created Songbirds of Fort Worth. We are passionate about helping aspiring songwriters reach their full potential. Every Monday, we gather at Southside Preservation Hall to discuss all things songwriting. We dedicate the first hour to answering any questions our community members might have on everything from songwriting to music business. The second hour is dedicated to performing and reviewing the songs we have written from the prompt given the week prior. (Performing is not mandatory but encourage! The positive feedback has been inspiring and helpful with writers block.) Our community is supportive and encourages each other to grow as songwriters every step of the way.
